Welcome all to the highly respected Al Salam Camp in Oman.
My name is Said Alofi, the new marketing manager of Al Salam Camp as well as the owner of (Muasasat Alasifat Alramlat Aljadida) New Sand Storm Enterprise (New Sand Storm Tours). Born in Zanzibar, I relocated to Oman and since then I have lived in Hong Kong for a year and England for 19 years. During my time abroad, I have acquired multiple business and marketing techniques which I will be adopting in my company as well as Al Salam Camp.
The current population of Oman is 4,829 million people as of 2018. Al Salam Camp is updated on all the health and safety regulations, including the treatment of tourists from different religious and cultural backgrounds. To note, alcohol is not purchasable on camp ground. The camp can be booked through booking.com. Al Salaam camp is all-inclusive, providing airport transportation to and from the tourist village and back to Muscat international airport.

Muscat: Oman is now ranked at the top on the list of both the safest and the friendliest country in the world for expatriates to live and work, according to a new global report that looks at which countries are the most welcoming to foreign nationals.
The 2019 Expat Insider Report, — which was released by Inter Nations, a company that looks at the services provided by countries to expatiates who move here to work — listed Oman at the top in terms of safety and security for ex-pats, as well is in terms of friendliness shown to them.
Details on the up-coming social media and website include: transport of tourists from the airport to the tourist village and Hotel holiday packages including tourist attractions, weather, food options, and distance from the Hotel and village to the airport.
1. Different booking procedures for individual tourists and groups include:
i. Using a email or booking form to complete all packages and payments.
ii. Individual booking on Facebook and website to select preferred packages.
iii. Our tourist village and Hotel provides accommodation, food, and tours. Our form of transport is coaches and 4x4 vehicles.
2. We do not provide travel insurance but we will ensure our customers on the health and safety regulations and their security rights.
3. Guests will be transported via two different types of vehicles: a coach and 4x4 cars. The distance between the airport and village is 340km and it takes approximately 3 hours to reach the village.
However, the Hotel is near by the Airport.
4. Sand dunes are a popular attraction of the area but we provide sight-seeing tours to other tourist attractions further away from the village. These will be listed on the Social Media & website.
5. We will provide various food options for each day of the stay.
6. The source of electricity is the main electricity power lines.
7. The main languages available are English and Arabic, but we can provide French translates.
The camp is located on the eastern sands of Bedin, in the Sharqiyah Desert, Sultanate of Oman. It takes approximately 90 minutes to reach the camp from the capital, Muscat, giving you the chance to see the spectacular mountains along the way.
It's important to us that our customers feel at complete ease so an airport shuttle is available for our guests from and to the airport and camp. Please enquire when booking with us.

The rooms in Al Salam Camp are designed with a blend of modernity and traditional cultures.
